When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. How we protect your data

We user various protection methods on the website to protect your data. These include and SSL certificate which provides a secure connection between you and the website when visiting, this is evident by the little padlock symbol you can see in the browser address bar and the HTTPS. We also use security software to prevent various malicious attacks on the website.
We backup the website to another server so that in the event of loss of data on the server where the website is currently held e.g. due to a hardware failure, a backup of the website is made to another separate server periodically.

We use an emailing system to send automated marketing emails to users that have signed up for that service, e.g. our mailing list for offers and news.
