The Victron Energy VE.Direct cable allows you to connect your VE.Direct devices, such as the Victron Phoenix inverter or Victron BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers to your GX device.
The cable is able to transfer data from all products with a VE.Direct port, and is commonly used with the 250W-1200W Phoenix inverter range which doesn’t have built-in smart functionality.
VE.Direct cable – use case
The VE.Direct cables are commonly used to connect ‘non-smart’ Victron products to a Cerbo GX so it can monitor the performance of each connected component. If you choose to install a Cerbo GX you can use the VE.Direct cables instead of paying for the smart version of some Victron products and still monitor them through the Cerbo GX and the VictronConnect app.
